Reporting into the CFO, as the Compliance Manager, you will be setting up the compliance framework across multiple regulated entities.

The role gives you an opportunity to tackle all areas of compliance, from client onboarding toregulatory body interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Run and manage compliance and internal controls functions (including, but not limited to, the approval of new accounts, money laundering and know-your-customer checks, liaising withregulatory body on any regulatory mater, liaising with external service providers and consultants, running the Compliance Monitoring Programme);
  • Ensure the business maintains all required authorisations and permissions required to engage in regulated activity where applicable;
  • Liaise with and manage the/or any other regulatory body as required;
  • Production of management information and required reports to key stakeholders;
  • Support and advise the business on maters of regulatory compliance, financial crime and internal controls;
  • Provide compliance transactional advice to the business areas and for

Management's decisions;

  • Advise all staff on new rules and regulations;
  • Coordinate compliance training and internal controls training for UK staff;
  • Coordinate with all business areas to ensure that appropriate controls are in place for current and new business;
  • Handle regulatory enquiries, examinations and regulatory audit queries;
  • Maintain policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure that all regulatory and legal reports are prepared and sent on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that all the files under your areas of responsibility are maintained and kept properly;
  • Ensure that policies and procedures of the areas under his/her responsibility are kept up to date;
  • Management of any regulatory project assigned to you, including the coordination of other teams, business units or external contractors or consultants

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Finance or a relevant field preferred
  • Experience as a Compliance Analyst, Compliance Manager or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment
  • Ability to project manage research projects and deliver objectives
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent organisational skills.
  • Intermediate IT knowledge with an aptitude to learn
