As a result of a recent acquisition we now have a fabulous opportunity for a dynamic and strategic Group HR Manager/HRBP to lead and coordinate our people strategy to deliver against our business needs

BASE SALARY: £45,000 - £60,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Market Harborough, Nottingham, Northampton, Lutterworth.

THE COMPANY:

We are one of the UK’s largest transactional mail manufacturers, with a turnover in excess of £70million and employing over 500 people across manufacturing, software development, sales, account/campaign management and internal support functions. Based over two sites in Leicester and Kettering, this role is to be based at our Head Office in Leicester but will require regular travel to Kettering.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a result of a group-wide reorganisation and a recent, well publicised acquisition it has been recognised that there is a need for a strong and dynamic Group HR Manager/HRBP to champion the people strategy.
This role will definitely appeal to someone who wants to take complete ownership of the day-to-day hands-on HR function and have major input in influencing current and future business strategies.

RESPONSIBILITY OVERVIEW:

> To be the HR lead for all related activities and strategies across the two sites based in Leicester & Kettering
> Design & develop a comprehensive suite of HR policies and procedures
> Work closely with the senior leadership team and their associated departmental leaders, by providing expert guidance and advice, coaching and support on all HR related matters
> Become a key and active member of the leadership team; contributing to and influencing the development and delivery of the organisations strategy.
> Proactively use workforce information and manufacturing business intelligence metrics to deliver desired business outcomes and objectives
> Build a strong succession planning and talent management agenda within the Group
> Undertake a systematic Role Analysis and Job Evaluation programme
> Devise, develop and take ownership of a Group wide Training and Development Plan
> Add HR values to transformational change projects ensuring compliance with all legislation, H&S, policies and best practice
> Ensure ER processes are compliance with ACAS guidelines, provide guidance to managers and minimise exposure to business risk
> Act as an effective coach, mentor and Trusted Advisor to leaders and directors regarding people issues
> Lead and manage 2 HR Advisors and/or Administrators to ensure effective delivery of the HR process

PERSON REQUIREMENT:

> A degree or relevant qualification in HR, Business Management or CIPD Level 7+ graduate qualification.
> Excellent HR knowledge and expertise at developing a wide range of HR policies and procedures
> Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
> Experience of providing pragmatic and consistent advice and guidance on a broad range of generalist HR Management policies and procedures.
> Sound working knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience of applying this knowledge
> Substantial experience of driving employee engagement initiatives.
> Wide range of influencing skills and the ability to challenge and negotiate with the most senior levels of management to deliver win-win outcomes
> Ability to manage resistance to change and the expectations of senior managers
> Capable of providing senior management coaching, mentoring, guidance and training
> Excellent verbal communication, written presentation and data analytics (HR metrics) skills
