My client, an international organisation for the safety and welfare of animals are seeking a Head of HR to add to their team.
This role will be to lead and manage the HR team (10) as they go through a perod of change and transformation. The role will ensure that the HR strategy is alligned with the overall strategy for the organisation.
You will take responsibility for developing and delivering efficient HR processes including recruitment, business partnering, rewards and benefits, L&D and employee engagement and will be influential in supporting the personal development of the team. You will have a key role in supporting the HR Director with the on-going development of the organisations HR strategy and ensure it is aligned to the new overall strategy and implemented across all areas of the business.
You will also look after the business area to support business partnering team. You will need to have solid Head of HR experience, experience of building business cases, project management preferably experience with putting project action plans together for accreditation such as Athena Swan, IIP, Stonewall, Timewise 100 etc. You will need to be able to understand GDPR, and ideally have experience working in an education setting dealing with researchers, scientists as part of your client group (however the client are open to all types of backgrounds)
You will ideally be degree qualified and have your CIPD or FCIPD.You will be experienced in developing equality and diversity initiatives and be a colloborative leader, and ideally have knowledge of using iTrent.
