Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with one our FMCG clients to appoint a Head of HR for their site in Hull. Reporting into the COO the role will have responsibility for the full HR Agenda for this highly successful FMCG site.

The Head of HR will be responsible for leading and implementing the People Plan and the achievement of all the strategic people related targets. The role will lead, influence and develop the HR function managing the full generalist compliment of employee relations, learning & development, business partnering, recruitment, performance management, engagement, succession planning and internal communications.

The role will operate as part of the Senior Management Team influencing, contributing and ensuring all people plans are closely aligned to business objectives. The role will also report to the Board, regularly reporting and contributing on overall people related matters and strategy.

Key activities will include:

Contribute to the SLT on the overall people strategy
Develop performance management and talent management processes
Responsibility for all recruitment ensuring successful talent pipelines
Develop the employer brand propositions
Design and implement effective engagement strategies
Review existing reward strategies, recommending cost effective and competitive solutions
Design and implement effective strategies for communication
Manage and facilitate effective Learning, development and coaching across the business.

To be successful in this role we're looking for:

Degree education, MCIPD or equivalent
Strong existing experience gained with manufacturing, FMCG or similar sectors
Experience of operating successfully in Head of HR or People Leadership roles
Demonstrable evidence of successfully leading and inspiring HR teams
Proven experience of leading on HR strategies, delivery of people agendas and best in class practices
Experience of leading on engagement, talent management, organisational change as well as a strong degree of driving and influencing culture
