Your new role: This is one of a number senior roles and you'll enjoy an unrivalled opportunity to play a part in our continued progress. This pivotal role is focused on:
Contributing to development and delivery of the people strategy and plans to drive improvement through a healthy, inclusive, engaged and productive workforce. Effective analysis and strategic workforce planning and resourcing to ensure the organisation has the right skills and people for both short and long term requirements.
Managing and developing HRBP level direct reports e.g. across resourcing, recruitment, HR helpdesk, HR advisory and payroll as well as working with outsourced partners. Driving and implementing best practice, policies and procedures whilst always raising standards and efficiencies. Managing and maintaining HR policies and procedural guidance taking account internal and external standards and developments.
Managing and contributing to positive employee relations through effective consultation, contact and actions with staff associations. Building relationships and collaborating with both internal and external departments, partners and multiple stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives in a complex change environment e.g. embed organisational development initiatives into advisory processes.
What you'll need to succeed:
Well versed in empowering your team and the ability to devolve responsibility whilst directing standards to achieve tangible outputs and improved efficiencies. Solution focused approach and a strong determination to get it right first time with a methodical and highly organised style of working.
Ideally you are educated to degree level or a significant level of relevant experience of equivalence and membership of a relevant professional body. You will ideally hold a full current driving licence or be able to travel around the force using alternative transport. Please note: Vetting will be conducted on applicants.
