They are committed to being led by their customers (blind and partially sighted people), and one of the ways they do this is through active involvement and engagement in many of their work activities, including the recruitment of new members of staff.

Position: Head of HR Operations
Location: London
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £58,000 per annum (Inc. London weighting)

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join them as the Head of HR Operations. You will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to the HR Shared Service function to deliver a first-class HR transactional service for our client. Building trusted relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders and colleagues from across the people team to ensure a seamless end to end customer experience.

About you:

Our client is looking for someone with significant experience in developing, transitioning and managing teams, within a centralised HR or Shared Service function. Together with experience in implementing effective working processes and developing solutions to issues which provide a high level of customer service to an organisation.

An influential operational leader; you’ll be an effective communicator with strategic financial skills and knowledge of managing an integrated HR and Payroll system.

This post will necessitate some occasional travel to Peterborough, although as an organisation they use Skype where they can.
