The Role:

Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of People & Learning serves as a key member of the organisation’s senior leadership team and is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, development and execution of organisational effectiveness, talent and culture management programmes to achieve business results.

The successful candidate will do this through strategic programme development and execution, offering progressive, forward-thinking coaching and counsel on all issues related to the organisation’s talent and culture, as well as leading the greater People team in striving to be a world class talent management department.

The role currently has responsibility for HR Business Partners, Advisors and administrators across two locations in the UK and one in China, this is likely to expand over time. Responsibility also exists for our L&D.

We need you to be really great at:

+ A minimum of 10 years of relevant HR leadership experience, preferably in a related professional services industry
+ CIPD Level 7 qualified and evidence of CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
+ A proven track-record of advancing a corporate culture and successfully leading significant change management initiatives+ Previous experience in leading the design and delivery of a global HR Change and Transformation Strategy
+ Experience of supporting employees and management across the business, including working with a senior management and executive team.
+ Demonstrated advanced knowledge of creating and leading talent management principles and practices including those pertaining to talent management, organisational development, performance management, employee relations, internal communications, mergers and acquisitions; with demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing these areas
+ Must demonstrate the ability to balance accountability with emotional intelligence when interacting with team members at all levels
+ Requires well-developed and highly effective listening, communication, presentation and persuasive skills, including the ability to receive, process and present both strategic and tactical information to diverse audiences
+ Experience leading and developing a world class HR Systems function that underpins business strategy and reinforces a performance culture
+ Demonstrated innovative approach – focused on continuous improvement
+ The personality, confidence, gravitas and cultural awareness to operate at all levels in the UK and internationally.
+ Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, evaluate and manage conflicting priorities effectively in a fast paced environment with senior level leaders
