In NW London, my growing client, a leading and innovative skincare organisation are seeking a Head of HR & Recruitment to lead a small team and work across HR in the organisation. The organisation has a fairly flat structure and you will benefit from having worked as part of a similar structure before where you report directly into an owner, CEO and manage a small team or are standalone. If you are passionate about Beauty and Skincare that is a desirable quality. The organisation is circa 200 people. You will need to be adaptable, be diplomatic, have the gravitas to work at a level with senior stakeholders across the organisation and be able to build strong relationships as part of your personality and part of the role.

You will ideally be an experienced Head of HR and Recruitment to join this growing and innovative business. You will be responsible for leading and shaping the team, overseeing and handling all people-process related matters, ensuring the business remains compliant to legal requirements.You will have experience in recruiting at a senior level across an organisation as the Talent Manager will do the day to day but you will need to get involved on senior appointments.

You will provide expert advice and support to managers and team members on all aspects of people management, and work to position us as an employer of choice.

  • Lead and Develop the HR team, consisting of our In-House Recruiter, HR Advisor and an external Compliance Advisor (part time)
  • Provide day to day advice and support to line managers on all human resource subjects: management of people, remuneration, etc
  • Develop strong, trusted partnerships with the exec and senior leadership team to provide objective advice and support
  • Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan
  • Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organisation, as and when they occur
  • Ensure all Job Descriptions are kept up to date, create new JDs as and when necessary
  • Deal with any performance or grievance issues in a legally compliant and professional way
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and legally compliant
