Hudson are delighted to be partnering with Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service (BFRS) to recruit a Head of Human Resources & Organisational Development.
BFRS is one of the most transformational, forward thinking and highest performing services in the country. Operating from 20 strategically-placed fire stations and covering an area that stretches from the outskirts of London to the South Midlands, the organisation serves a population of about 800,000 people, and is committed to working hard to continue to build a deserved reputation for providing a high quality, value for money service to its community.
The Head of Human Resources & Organisational Development provides a key role in the strategic leadership of BFRS, setting the direction and operationally leading the professional HR and Organisation Development (OD) functions. The successful candidate will be required to ensure the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient value enhancing people services.
The organisation sees this as a critical role, helping optimise staff contribution and well-being, enabling them to maintain and enhance its reputation. It is looking for a progressive, dynamic, innovative and customer focused HR professional, who will head up a team of dedicated practitioners and successfully lead them in the delivery of results.
