Head of Learning, Development and Organisational Effectiveness

Our client, a scale-up, Unicorn technology-led firm is looking for a Learning and Development expert with proven experience of working both large corporate (tech preferred) as well as scale-up environments, building and shaping the L&D and OE function from scratch.

The successful candidate will be comfortable getting stuck-in with all operational matters as well as leading on strategy and working comfortably with board-level employees.

About the role:

  • Building and shaping the Learning, Development and OE strategy and working with key stakeholders and third parties to bring this to life.
  • Growing the offering across learning, understanding how to provide a best in class learning function for the business and creating a fit for purpose strategy for each time the business grows.
  • As the scaling continues, creating talent management process and leading on the OE strategy for the business.

Key requirements:

  • Demonstrable learning and development experience and wider OD/OE experience essential, ideally from within a technology-led environment and scale-up/start-up experience advantageous.
  • Executive coaching qualification preferred
  • An ability to work strategically and operationally and be comfortable operating in a standalone capacity initially, whist the business grows.
  • An excellent communicator and presenter who is comfortable delivering training when required.
