Your new role: This is one of a number senior roles and you’ll enjoy an unrivalled opportunity to play a part in continued progress. This pivotal role supports the transformation and is focused on:
Shaping, influencing and facilitating the people and organisational development aspects of corporate strategy, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating nationally developed initiatives.
Organisational development and design through a strategic approach in a changing environment.
Innovative thinking, collaboration and influential partnering with key stakeholders to develop sound plans which solve issues in a change environment.
Working with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to drive organisational development activities across a wide range of departments e.g. L&D, as well as responding to national initiatives.
Leading, managing and coordinating organisational development interventions to ensure they sustainably realise the required impacts and benefits, including in relation to talent management, succession planning, leadership, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and people and cultural change management.
Communicate and engage to ensure effective implementation and constantly demonstrate progress and tangible results.
What you'll need to succeed:

Competently handles a changing landscape with lots of moving parts through innovation and a partnership approach.
Expertly influences and engages a range of stakeholders.
Skilled in delivering organisational development activities aligned to the bigger picture.
Engaging style and comfortable influencing across functional boundaries and building strong working relationships.
Ideally you are educated to degree level or a significant level of relevant experience of equivalence with membership of a relevant professional body. The post holder should ideally hold a full current driving licence or be able to travel around the force using alternative transport. Please note: Vetting will be conducted on applicants.
