I am working on a really exciting role for a brand New Head of People, for this small but growing media events business. With a current headcount of 20 employees, majority are sales focussed roles, we are looking to hire a brilliant and established Head of People who will not only go out to market to attract the best graduates and experienced sales staff, but will mentor, coach and develop them into brilliant managers.
This is an amazing opportunity to not only develop your own skillset in People Management, but is an exciting chance to really shape the business and challenge the usual status quo of what a people function should be.
Reporting to the entrepreneurial founder, who set up the business 8 years ago, his vision is for the Head of People to sit on the leadership team and be involved in making major decisions regarding the growth and culture of the business.
Focussing on graduate recruitment from local universities, ensuring the employer brand and EVP are recognised in similarity with London Media Organisations.
This is the first time they will have a dedicated HR professional on site, historically using a HR consultancy to ensure they are legally compliant, the new Head of People will ultimately be responsible for cultivating the right environment.
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR / Talent Acquisition specialist, ideally be CIPD qualified and have experience of Employee Relations & some experience of TUPE would be beneficial.
