Head of Talent Acquisition (Digital Start-up) - London

£100 £125k + bonus + share options + flexi/remote working

My client is an AI-assisted platform, that specialises in building, maintaining and running bespoke software for their customers, making it faster, more accessible and less expensive for everyone to bring their ideas to life.

They are very keen to hire a Head of Talent Acquisition who has experience working in a digital start-up and you will get involved in building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring teams by collaborating on effective search strategies, as well as developing robust talent pipelines of engaged candidates within their specific functions.

Last year they secured $29.5m of funding to scale our growth in Europe. They already have three offices in LA, Delhi, and London and recently hit 250 employees globally. A key focus for them this year is to significantly grow their London operation.

Key responsibilities:

Partner with various stakeholders to understand business, department and position requirements to develop recruiting strategies to source, attract and recruit to fill key positions.

Manage full-cycle recruitment

Lead kick off meeting and following recruiting discussions with hiring managers to develop an effective interview and sourcing strategy.

Ensuring up to date Job Descriptions to better attract talent.

Ensure positive applicant experience throughout the hiring process.

Source talented and diverse candidates through creative methods and understand the impact of applied strategies when hiring at scale

Leverage tools to source viable candidates (LinkedIn, etc.).

Negotiate salary terms and partner with the hiring manager to recommend best-in-class onboarding.

Build and leverage network (business resource groups, professional organizations) to become an expert in assigned functions and continually growing and developing Builders talent pipeline.

Attend key industry/function related events where relevant.

Lead and/or participate in special projects that support continuous business process improvement for talent acquisition.

Updating and management of Builders ATS (currently Workabe) on a timely basis to ensure accurate reporting on statistics on time to fill, costs, and source of hire.

Keeps up to date with industry news and has a good knowledge and understanding of their function area.

Proven experience managing a high volume of recruitment.

A self-starter, able to multi-task and self-prioritise.

Skilled in project management (able to effectively manage expectations, follow timelines, and communicate progress).

Support the important balance between local needs and global alignment aiming for maximum results.

Requirements

Able to influence hiring managers with regards to recruitment practice and selection activities.

Excellent working knowledge of an ATS - workable preferable

Strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of work.

Demonstrates the ability to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.

Capable of absolute discretion and confidentiality.

A sense of urgency and pace with a delivery focus, you are target driven

Strong candidate satisfaction focus, able to build effective relationships and collaborate with a wide variety of individuals.
