HR Administration Team Leader 

You may remember our client as the company that revolutionised the automotive parts industry in the 1970s. Position: People Process Administrator Lead 
Location: Cowley, Oxford, Oxfordshire (Commutable from Bicester, Aylesbury, Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, Witney, Farringdon and surrounding areas) 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30 to 5.00 
Salary: £25k per annum 

About the role: 

The purpose of the People Process Administrator Lead is to supervise the day to day running of the People Process Administrators and actively lead the team with the aim of providing a customer-focused experience with high levels of transactional excellence and provide a comprehensive, flexible and efficient administrative People service utilising the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques. 


- Ensure all People administration activities have relevant and up to date Standard Operating Procedures and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques and seek to use new digital initiatives to further enhance this 
- Ensure all processes are followed to the correct standard, and use the audit process to ensure high quality is achieved amongst the team 
- Actively supervise the workload of the People Process Administrators on a day to day basis including workload management and reviewing performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) 
- Ensure data input to the HR Information Systems (HRIS) is of high quality and in line with the relevant SOPs 
- Use appropriate audits to guarantee quality of all data input and to enable proactive resolution of data issues 
- Support the People Process and Analytics Manager in the implementation of any new ResourceLink functionality into the People Process Team 
- Train and develop the People Process Administrators to ensure high performance in all areas as well as the ability to share workload 
- Participate in recruitment of Administrators and is responsible for the Administrator Induction for all new team members 
- Compile and distribute monthly flexible benefit reports to suppliers and internal Finance teams, taking action where necessary 

Essential Skills / Experience 

- Previous experience of working in a busy HR department in a similar role 
- Thorough understanding of HR transactional processes and procedures 
- Proven experience of working in a confidential environment 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially via email and telephone 
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) 
- Familiar with using HR databases or similar 
- Customer focus – taking accountability for proactively resolving issues 
- Experience Leading and Managing Performance 
- Experience Planning Resources 
- Delegates effectively, allocating tasks and responsibilities appropriately 
- Communicates clearly, appropriately and regularly. 

Desirable Skills / Experience: 

- Previous experience of supervising a small team 
- Awareness of L&D processes and procedures 
- CPP qualified / working towards CIPD 
- Up to date, working knowledge of current UK employment law 
- Experience of the full suite of UPW tools and techniques such as Standard Work and Process Mapping
