Forbes Solicitors, one of the largest regional firms in the North of England, has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our busy HR & Training team, within our Blackburn Office.
The role will include dealing with a range of confidential administration duties; including undertaking analytical work on management information, updating and maintaining the HR and Training Database, providing typing support, minute taking, compiling reports, assisting with recruitment, setting up training events, filing and general day to day administration task and being the first point of contact for queries from internal and external customers
The successful candidate will ideally have previous office/administration experience, excellent IT skills and have knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Ideally be a touch typist, or have a willingness to learn. Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be accurate in presentation of their work. Will be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to manage their time effectively and efficiently, can work as part of a team and requires minimal supervision. An appreciation and understanding of employee confidentially at all times is required.

* Depending where the successful applicant currently is in their career, a Business Administration Apprenticeship may be offered, followed by the opportunity to undertake the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Level III Certificate in HR Practice. Therefore, candidates must have a minimum of 5 GCES grade A-C or 9-5, including Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
