Job Role:

Our Client specialise in providing computer maintenance and business critical services on all major brands including HPE/Compaq/Digital, Sun, Lenovo, Fujitsu, EMC, DELL and IBM. In addition, they deliver a full range of Solutions, Managed and Professional Services with expertise available to assist with the implementation, management and support of any IT estate, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their clients' business processes.

They are currently looking to recruit for a HR Administrator to work from their head office based in Wooburn Green, Bucks.

Responsibility and Duties

To provide administrative support to the HR Manager and perform administrative duties within the HR Department ensuring a high quality and efficient HR service is delivered.

To provide assistance on a daily basis to the H R Manager in the following areas:


  • To assist with placing resourcing requirements on job boards, dealing with agencies, local advertising
  • To maintain in house CV database
  • To conduct review of applicants obtaining shortlists for interview and administration, letters etc.


  • Staff Attendance: To record and monitor staff attendance on a daily basis.
  • Induction: To initiate the new employee checklists, references and monitor probationary periods.
  • HR Files: To manage the Employee HR Files and Training records ensuring correct documentation.
  • Security Clearance: To process documentation and ensure passes and information is kept up to date.
  • Staff Training: To administer staff training records.
  • Appraisals: To maintain appraisal records and ensure appraisals are completed.
  • Benefits: To assist with the administration of company benefits.


To assist the HR Manager with various adhoc payroll related duties, i.e.expenses, journals, spreadsheets

Employee Relations

To assist the HR Manager with employee related issues, disciplinary, grievance. Employee communications and Portal/Intranet updates

Staff Activities

To assist the HR Manager with activities such as:

  • Team Building
  • Charity Events


  • To provide Reception cover as and when necessary
  • To book hotels, flights and any other travel requests for staff
  • To perform other duties as required or as directed by the HR Manager or Directors
  • Maintain an awareness of HR best practice at all times ensuring confidentiality, integrity and trust
