Salary £18,000 per annum

Full Time, 35 hours per week

 

Our client is a UK based financial services business which utilises the latest communication technologies, principally the internet, mobile smart telephony and social media, to offer customers a range of incentive, reward and Christmas products, backed by the highest levels of service.

 

They now have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator / Payroll Assistant to join them to assist with the management of weekly and monthly payroll systems utilising Sage 50 Payroll in conjunction with the Payroll Team.

 

The role will include the preparation of contracts of employment, offer letters, reference requests, generation of all standard employee correspondence, and the collation of all HR paperwork, and monthly MI reports. Accountable for checking and entering salary, overtime & other payments, entering new starter details and processing leavers, you will accurately complete payroll journals and assist with year-end procedures.

 

Currently (or recent experience of) working within a HR Department in a HR Administrator or Payroll position, you will be willing to develop payroll skills and operate SAGE 50. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to join a relaxed, easy going and intimate HR team with real opportunities for someone looking to start off in HR in an environment which will help you to learn the whole HR profession. CIPD funding MAY be available after 1 year in the role.

 

They are looking for someone who has experience in HR and is willing to be trained in Payroll, or vice versa, which makes this an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to gain new skills.
