HR Adviser (Human Resources, Assistant, Officer) FUTH56061

Salary £28,000 p.a.

Are you the ideal HR Adviser to join the People Team with our client, a Ripley based Housing Group? They need someone to roll up their sleeves and get involved with all aspects of the employment life cycle. In this generalist role, you’ll lead on employment relations casework, including absence management, capability and disciplinary, as well as organisational change management and training.

Your main focus will be coaching and support to line managers, as well as dealing with ad hoc queries from the 300 employees across the organisation. You’ll be based at their head office in Ripley, with infrequent travel to Alfreton and Daventry, Northamptonshire.

Our client is an Investors in People Silver Award holder and genuinely values their people. You’ll be working as part of a team of seven, where they work hard whilst still valuing work-life balance. They offer 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and additional paid leave for the Christmas closedown. Essential skills and experience:

•    Generalist HR experience in a busy environment
•    Practical experience of providing routine ‘hands on’ HR support and advice – particularly with investigations, disciplinaries and capabilities
•    Experience of managing end-to-end recruitment
•    Experience of delivering briefings to and coaching line managers
•    Working knowledge and understanding of employment law

Our client is an innovative business which provides 9,000 affordable homes throughout the East Midlands. They own a social enterprise, a commercial development company and co-own a further education provider. They have a varied mix of employees and occupations, from repairs operatives to finance, housing officers to ICT, cleaners to customer service advisers, and much more!

Contract:    Permanent
Hours:        37 hours per week, Monday – Friday
