Newham College is seeking to appoint an HR Advisor to join our experienced and enterprising team.
You will be responsible for ensuring all our staff have access to training and development and working with the Group HR Manager to enhance staff’s health and well being.
The successful candidate will provide high quality administrative support to the Directorate of HR and to contribute to the overall work of the HR team.
The role will involve taking responsibility in the areas of training and development, monitoring sickness absence, acting as HR representative at meetings, compiling reports, drafting correspondence and working with external training providers. You will also be undertaking administrative duties relating to disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a HR environment and database management, providing high quality HR administrative support and drafting management reports. Also equally important is excellent organisational skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
