Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with one of our clients in the Barnsley area who are looking to recruit a HR Advisor for their manufacturing business.
This is a standalone role working alongside the management team and reporting into the Head of Finance. The role will be supported by an external ad-hoc HR consultant as well some admin support.
The role will cover 2 sites, Barnsley and an additional smaller site supporting managers on the full breadth of HR responsibilities for c200 employeees.
Responsibilities will include:
-Dealing with ER issues supporting on casework, including grievance and disciplinaries
-Absence management including reporting and MI
-Managing all recruitment, new starters and inductions
-Developing HR policies and procedures ensuring in line with current legislation
-Provide sound HR legislative advice/employment law to managers
-Work with Unions as appropriate
-Manage performance reviews with managers
-Support on redundancy and restructures including any current furlough arrangements
-Work with occupational Health to ensure compliance
-Responsible for all HR admin and HR systems. These may need review and updating.
Whilst this role is standalone support will be given and the business has a strong appetite for HR and people focussed initiatives. This is a super role for an accomplished HR Advisor looking to develop their skills and independence in HR and does require a level of confidence to operate and make decisions autonomously. You will ideally be Level 7 CIPD or working towards.
