Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a HR Advisor role for one of our clients based in North Nottinghamshire. This is a generalist HR Advisor role and is an exciting opportunity to join an established organisation.

Supporting the Head of HR, the role will involve all aspects of HR adopting a business partnering approach providing coaching, guidance and training. There will be particular emphasis on Employee Relations and a unionised environment confidence in this area is a must, in order to ensure managers follow legislation and sound practice. There will also be some travel in the role therefore full driving licence is essential.

The role will involve:

- Provide professional guidance to managers on investigations, grievances, disciplinaries and appeals
- Provide guidance and support on absence management issues including long term sick and Occupational Health referrals
- Undertake consultation meetings for TUPE/Reorganisation processes supporting on 121's, documentation and management decisions
- Provide ongoing coaching to managers and newly promoted managers on HR processes and maximising effective performance management of their teams
- Escalate areas of concern to HRBP and Senior Management as appropriate
- Contribute to MI reporting on HR metrics, identify trends and support necessary action
- Ensure managers are fully supported on organisational change and restructures ensuring effective communication processes
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures at all times
- Provide recruitment support from headcount authorisation to adverts, interview and offers
- Support on onboarding and induction of new employees
- Work on projects as required by the business

To be successful in this role:

- Demonstrable experience at HR Advisor level with ideally between 3-5 years HR Advisor experience
- Competent understanding of all areas of employment legislation in particular with reference to Employee Relations
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and ability to develop and nurture strong relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both autonomously and as part of the wider team
- Previously worked with trade unions
- Ideally CIPD qualified
- Flexible to some travel within the role and very occasional overnight stays if required
