HR Advisor

This is a varied role where the successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task, have excellent planning & time management skills, be a team player and be prepared to move seamlessly from one task to another, in what is a busy care environment.

You will be expected to be able to work confidentially and autonomously within an HR advisory capacity.

You will be an excellent communicator and be able to quickly build relationships with managers across the organisation and be able to demonstrable knowledge of operational activities and its practical application in the workplace.

HR Advisor Requirements:

-  Minimum CIPD level 5
-  Significant experience of working as an HR Advisor dealing with absence management, grievances.
-  Ability to build positive relationships with managers, colleagues and Trade Union representatives.
-  Experience in TUPE transfer incoming and outgoing.
-  Experience of advising managers on the application of policies and procedures and support in operational HR issues.
-  Up to date knowledge of employment legislation.
-  Willingness and flexibility to travel to various locations to undertake task such as team meetings, supervisions for staff, review meeting etc.
-  Be punctual, flexible and willing to make necessary changes to meet any changing needs of the company in line with the care industry requirements.
-  Confident and competent IT Skills.

Desirable:

-  Experience of working in an employee relations and engagement role in the care industry.
-  Experience of Agenda for change terms and conditions of employment.
-  Experience of advising managers at disciplinary hearing and other formal hearings.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (flexibility required to meet the clients and company needs). There may be occasion where due to the distance of your client overnights stays are required, hotels and meal contributions are provided by the company.

Salary: £23,000 per annum. Mileage is paid at 44p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, 24p per mile thereafter, Expenses are paid as agreed by your line manager.

You may have experience of the following: HR Coordinator, HR Advisor, HR Assistant, HR Manager, Human Resources Coordinator, Human Resources Advisor, Human Resources Assistant, HR Officer, HR Adviser, Human Resources Manager, CIPD, etc.
