Excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a strong regional practise on a 6 month fixed term contract in their Birmingham office.

This is a great opportunity to work in a distinctive firm, relational with a strong emphasis on supporting and developing people and teams. You will work alongside a number of departments on all people-related issues, demonstrating a proactive, business-partnering approach.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clear HR advice and/or coaching to line and department managers in day to day management and development of staff
  • Promoting and encouraging a positive culture and engaged workforce in all interactions with staff and managers
  • Taking responsibility for recruitment activities
  • Taking responsibility for HR and firm projects as determined in line with priorities and team resource.

To apply for this role you should have relevant experience working in a fast-paced HR department at a medium-to-large sized professional organisation. Comprehensive experience with grievances and disciplinary matters and a strong understanding of employment law is also required.

Salary for this role will be up to £35,000 per annum.
