About the Role:

They're looking for a HR Advisor to act as the first point of contact for their internal customers to the Business Partnering team and is responsible for providing generalist HR knowledge and expertise to provide high quality HR operational support to line managers across the European region.

A key part of the HR Advisor’s role will be to understand, collate and ensure the accuracy of HR related Management Information, used to demonstrate HR performance and inform operational and strategic business decisions.

The role will provide the opportunity to develop greater breadth and depth of HR expertise and business knowledge balanced with, a flexible proactive approach and a keen interest in all aspects of HR.

Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering exceptional customer service by building strong, effective, proactive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Providing trusted advice to managers on a full range of people related queries and issues across European region, identifying and escalating risks or concerns where required
- Ownership of relationship with third party Occupational Health Providers, managing referrals and supporting subsequent action planning with managers as appropriate
- Educating and coaching front line managers to perform their people related responsibilities more effectively e.g., absence management, providing feedback and performance management through appropriate means – guides, training, documentation
- Supports the wider HR team and HRBPs where appropriate with delivery of specialist projects
- Proactive involvement in any initiatives or activities across all HR areas including diversity and inclusion initiatives, engagement activities, wellbeing approach etc
- Work with relevant stakeholders ensuring the timely and accurate collation and provision of key HR metrics
- Ensure the protection of data in line with GDPR regulations
- Prioritise tasks to ensure that service levels and customer expectations are met
- Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the services provided by the department, processes, policies and systems. - - Presents opportunities to key stakeholders and follow through to fruition any improvements to BAU.
- Input into review of all HR policies to ensure fit for purpose and meet legal and regulatory requirements
- Keeps abreast of legislative and regulatory changes, adapting processes and documentation appropriately.
- Research best practice amongst competitors and other businesses to continually improve our colleague offering.

Skills & Experience:

- Relevant experience in a generalist HR role
- Ability to independently manage workload, escalating or seeking guidance where required.
- HR database experience (ideally Workday)
- Experience of managing sensitive situations and handling customers and stakeholders with empathy and understanding
- Knowledge of GDPR legislation
- Experienced in reviewing and improving policies

Desirable:

- Experience of working in the finance sector and/or a regulated organisation
- Experience of working in a demanding role in a fast-paced environment and with ability to prioritise tasks as appropriate.
- Experience of working in a multi-site European or global/ matrixed environment
