Our Client administers the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) and provides pensions to over 1.5 million people. They have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes and provide tailored services to more than 300 Government employers. Also, through their Training and Employee Engagement Service, they offer training on a wide range of pension related topics and legislative change.
They have an exciting opportunity for a HR Apprentice to join their HR team where you will provide excellent support, ensuring operational excellence throughout the HR function. This is a full time role on a fixed term 12 month contract.
Providing accurate and timely administrative duties in line with policy and procedure, you will maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Assisting with Payroll and ensuring that the Payroll System accurately reflects current staff conditions and details, you will carry out general HR administrative tasks, whilst also completing new starter security checks and maintaining HR files in line with GDPR.
They are looking for someone who has a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) with Grades A- C including Maths and English. An A-Level or equivalent in Maths or related subject is desirable but not essential. With an excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse and sense check important and confidential data, you will have an enthusiastic approach and a desire to provide an efficient and high-quality service.
This role is a great opportunity for the right candidate to experience working within a busy HR team whilst working towards a HR Administration Level 3 / Business Administration Apprenticeship.
