Our client is one of the world's fastest growing privately owned financial consultancy companies. They advisesclients across a range of sectors, including regulated sectors such as financial services.

Day-to-day activities will include;

Main daily responsibilities:

* Assisting employee on-boarding

* Creating company formatted CVs and assisting updates on a continual basis

* Interviewing new recruits

* HR system administration and generation of reports

* Sickness tracking

Other ad-hoc responsibilities:

* Burse capacity project support (including meeting with employees and working with project managers to remediate issues)

* Organisation of HR activities

* Some training delivery (including work experience and new starter assessment week)

* General HR administration & compliance including updating vetting documents and employee handbook

* Career fair and other ad hoc events support

* Appraisal administration assistance

* Catering to the unique needs of subsidiary service users (e.g. in tailoring career frameworks, documents and policies)

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications;

Essential experience:

* Proven experience in Microsoft office – particularly PowerPoint

* Professional admin experience (ideally in Human Resources / Recruitment / Compliance)

Desirable experience:

* Experience using Visio

* Experience using Vengage

* Experience using Prezzi

* Experience interviewing

Attributes:

In order to complement the existing team, the ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

* The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

* Strong numerical / analytical skills and attention to detail

* A real passion for pursuing a long-term career in operational HR

* A creative outlook and willingness to get involved in ad-hoc projects and organise events (e.g. analysing and presenting engagement survey results, involvement in work-streams, organisation of HR hosted events etc.)

* Very strong attention to detail and the ability to flag and mitigate risk

* Resourcefulness and proactivity

* The ability to follow instruction, particularly at times when the team need to pull together to accomplish a task

* Willingness to speak in public as the role will involve delivering some training, speaking at company socials and representing the company at careers fairs etc
