Elevation HR are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional HR Assistant to work for a growing manufacturing firm in the Sheffield area. This is initially an interim role for a minimum of 6 months which has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
This is a newly created position to join an expanding HR team; working alongside the HR Manager you will demonstrate a dynamic, professional face of the department. You will be responsible for supporting the team with a wide range of HR duties including recruitment, starter and leaver documentation, assisting with inductions, monitoring sickness and absences, coordinating training courses and events, as well as providing ad hoc advice to employees and line managers.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be confident dealing with a wide range of employees. You will be self-starter, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment. Ideally you will have HR experienced gained within the manufacturing industry or similar.
Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experience:
-Minimum 2 years HR administration experience
-Experience of recruitment and HR processes
-Ability to confidently communicate with all levels
-Strong IT skills; including Microsoft Office Suite & HR Software
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail
