Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant, for a leading engineering business in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Administrator/Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career, as my client can offer significant career progression for the right candidate.
This role will suit a suit a professional and dynamic HR Assistant with previous experience of providing a high level of support within a busy Human Resources Department. The role will involve supporting the HR Manager in reviewing policies and procedures, preparing contracts and starter packs for new employees, and acting as the first point of contact for ER enquiries and advice. You will also oversee recruitment including liaising with agencies and candidates, receiving CV's and arranging interviews. This is a broad and varied role which requires a good understanding of all HR issues, as ad hoc policy advice to employees will be required.
Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experience:
-Minimum 2 years generalist HR experience
-CIPD qualified or desire to work towards
-Experience of recruitment and HR processes
-Ability to confidently communicate with all levels
-Strong IT skills; including Microsoft Office Suite & HR Software
-Passionate about developing your career in Human Resources
