Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant for a leading manufacturing business in the Grimsby area. This is a newly created role due to growth, which will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract.
The purpose of the role will be to support the HR department in providing an effective HR service to the business. You will be responsible for dealing with all administration for the department as well as some PA support for the HR Director. You will also work closely with the HR Business Partners in providing ad hoc advice and guidance to managers and employees HR policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
-Sending out offer packs, contracts, probationary period review letters etc.
-Assisting with recruitment including referencing
-Monthly completion of organisational charts
-Monitoring KPIs for absence, absence, turnover etc.
-Administration of benefits and Occupational Health appointments
-Support HR Director with diary management, booking meetings and completing research
-Assisting with various HR projects as and when required
Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills & experience:
-IT Literate with intermediate capabilities in Microsoft packages
-Up to date knowledge of UK legislation
-CIPD Qualified or studying towards
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Flexible and eager to learn with a positive attitude
