Elevation HR are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional HR Assistant to work for a growing manufacturing business in the Gainsborough area. This is initially an interim role for a minimum of 6 months which has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
This is a newly created position to join a fast paced and busy HR team; working alongside the HR Manager and HR Advisor you will be responsible for all related administration for the department, as well as supporting with various projects, employee relations issues and recruitment.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be confident liaising with a wide range of employees. You will be self-starter, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment. Ideally you will have HR experience gained within the manufacturing or engineering industry, however a strong Administrator with a keen interest in HR will be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities will include the following:
-Responsible for providing an effective HR record system
-Day to day administration of the recruitment process
-Dealing with paperwork for new starters, leavers, pay queries, personal and job changes
-Delivering induction programmes for new starters
-Processing all training requests
-Liaising with external bodies e.g. occupational health, educational establishments, local businesses and other agencies
Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experience:
-Previous HR administration experience
-Ability to work to strict deadlines
-Understanding of sensitivity and confidentiality
-Self-motivated, enthusiastic, conscientious and reliable character
-Excellent IT skills & knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & HR Software
