Elevation HR are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional HR Assistant to work for a well-established business in the Chesterfield area. This is initially an ongoing temporary role for a minimum of 2 months, which has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
Due to the urgent requirement for this role only candidates that are available for an immediate start will be considered.
This successful candidate will work alongside the HR Manager and wider HR, Recruitment & L&D teams and will demonstrate a dynamic, professional face of the department. You will be responsible for supporting the team with a wide range of HR duties and administration, as well as providing ad hoc basic advice to employees and line managers.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
-Ensuring the HR database is up to date at all times
-Issuing Contracts of Employment & Offers of Employment
-Creating New Starters files, working with Payroll to set records up
-Processing all Sickness Absence
-Providing first line advice to employees and managers
-Responsible for delivering and analysing HR MI
Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experience:
-Extensive experience within HR Administration
-Flexible, resilient and willing to work in a busy, challenging environment
-Able to work with little direction and supervision, self-starter
-Good communication skills, customer focussed, solution driven
-Experienced and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
