HR Assistant/ Payroll Assistant/General Admin Assistant - Acocks Green, Birmingham
Salary £20,000-£25,000 per annum

My client is a long established Vehicle Accident Repair company with sites located in Acocks Green and Sutton Coldfield, with a 3rd site due to open soon.
Both sites benefit from modern facilities and a number of Manufacturer and Insurance approvals.
Due to my clients excellent customer service they are experiencing continued growth and development
For this reason they are looking to appoint an experienced full time permanent team member in the Human Resources/Payroll/Admin department.
The role is multifaceted and would suit someone who enjoys wearing many hats, and would like to go in and strengthen the existing team. Someone with at least 3 years Payroll and HR experience is preferred but a willingness to learn and a keen eye for detail is much more important. You will need to have drive and a passion to do well.
Just a few things you will need to be able to do with training are DVLA Checks. Motor Insurance Bureau Checks, GDPR Maintenance and compliance, BS10125, Looking after the 55 vehicle fleet of courtesy cars, Health and Safety Maintenance, Training and Development reviews and bookings, General purchase order, Ordering of Uniforms and Absence management/employment contracts and holidays authorisation and management. This is not an exhaustive list so please do not apply if you want just 1 role to do, this is only for multi-talented individuals who will go the extra mile. For that individual my client is willing to provide continued professional development and training as required.
2-3 year Experience of Payroll and HR is required. A good understanding of handling general HR/Compliance related matters and processing a small payroll (53 employees) A full UK driving licence is preferred. Must be keen to learn with passion and drive.
My client will only consider individuals with excellent written and verbal skills. You must show attention to detail as well as passion and drive. Above all you need to demonstrate a willingness to learn.
