This role offers an opportunity to help build a talented organization within a fast growing part of the Nielsen Company. This individual will provide Human Resources support and strategy to the UK based Entertainment verticals including Book and Sports. This role will support all HR activities for this client group, including talent initiatives, day to day HR, and organizational vitality for your teams in collaboration with local country strategy and global Nielsen Entertainment strategy.
��� Work in partnership with client group management team to develop and implement HR action plans to support the business goals of the organization
��� Work with client group management team to lead agreed change initiatives within your own business area working with HR colleagues as appropriate to benchmark and leverage best practice
��� Act as subject matter expert on all key HR deliverables, coordinating with COE support as needed, to include recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, training and development, job evaluation, employee relations & change management
��� Implement strategic HR related projects within your client area in coordination with Global Entertainment
��� Provide thought leadership and alignment on HR matters within the local and regional HR teams and as a member of the Client Group Management team.
��� Collaborate and partner with Market HR, Recruitment, C&B, and Training functions to ensure client people strategy is aligned to local / lead market people and talent strategy, and meets local legislative requirements.
��� Coach Managers and continue to drive the organizational design to support changing business environment, talent, and client needs
��� Influence the culture and support the commitment to continued improvement, through the effective implementation of approved talent management processes
��� Lead succession planning and talent review within the client group to identify capability, strengths and gaps, and plan effectively to ensure appropriate pipeline and strategy that will meet current and future needs
��� Drive performance management processes within own client group; motivate/ inspire management to set high standards of performance and hold employees firmly accountable for meeting those standards
��� Implement management development initiatives and activities for the client group within the Regional framework
��� Lead or participate in HR or business project initiatives at local, regional, country or team level
��� Participate in regular business reviews to provide status against defined regional / country HR targets to date and to proactivity identify issues as well as solutions and new opportunities
