Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with one of South Yorkshire's clients to identify a new junior HR Business Partner to join their growing business. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor/HRBP who is looking to make a creative and confident contribution to a highly commercial business. The company are experiencing continuing change and growth where no two days are the same. It will be fast paced and ever changing and as such requires a versatile and enthusiastic HR professional who can go with the flow, whilst providing a solid foundation of HR knowledge and who can also work with ambiguity, adapting to a changing landscape with a 'can-do' attitude.

Whilst the head office is in Sheffield the role will be home based with responsibility across a number of UK sites from Midlands to South as well as supporting sites internationally. The majority of the support will be delivered remotely but some travel may be required therefore a keenness to do so would be a real advantage, this could involve occasional trips to Europe or the US. French speaking would also be an advantage!

The role will be highly varied and will involve:

-Supporting stakeholders at all levels to deliver an operational and strategically focused business partner approach
-Helping to develop capabilities across the management teams to enable performance management and development of their teams
-Supporting on due diligence during future acquisitions into the business and subsequently work on harmonisation projects both practically and culturally for new employees into the business
-Managing and advise on TUPE projects and support on changes to terms and conditions as appropriate
-Providing guidance on maximising remote working for employees including recruitment, onboarding and induction
-Working closely with the Head of HR and wider HR team to develop and promote the culture of the business
-Encouraging and supporting managers in identifying and implementing clear career paths for employees
-Contributing to day to day engagement initiatives as well as longer term projects to ensure a happy and forward-thinking workforce

Whilst its expected that the ideal person will bring with them a strong foundation of HR skill and knowledge from a generalist background, due to the fast paced and unique nature of the role, we're ideally looking for someone who is confident, courageous, creative and most of all positive! There will be times where the HR answer isn't obvious and you will work with your team to find solutions.

Experience from a commercial background, exposure to mergers and acquisitions as well as dealing with TUPE projects would be preferred. Ideally you will be degree and or CIPD qualified but CPD will be supported. You should be a strong and effective communicator and be comfortable making decisions and working autonomously with minimum supervision.
