Parkinson Lee Executive Search, part of the Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be acting as retained partner for an established business based in South Yorkshire in the appointment of a HR Director.

This is a private equity backed business with ambitious plans to grow organically over the next 3-5 years and this is without doubt an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Professional to contribute both strategically and commercially.

Reporting into the CEO the HR Director will be a key partner to the executive leadership team and will drive the People strategy ensuring success across the business.

Specific areas of responsibility will include:

-Creating people plans in line with the strategic direction of the business
-Driving the focus on leadership development and executive coaching
-Introducing Resourcing and Talent frameworks, to ensure attraction, retention and engagement are successful within a highly competitive sector.
-Leading on change management and organisational development effectiveness initiatives.
-Driving the Brand to support future growth.
-Driving effective Internal/external communications strategies ensuring employee engagement.
-Focus on succession planning, talent mapping and individual colleague development
-Management of high performance generalist HR service, including responsibility for HR Operations

Additionally, we would look to identify a strong track record of experience gained within high profile reputable commercial businesses, as well as qualifications and credentials to ensure appropriate fit.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

-Extensive experience in a senior HR role at HR Director/Head of HR level
-Experience of operating within PE/VC backed businesses
-Qualified CIPD member
-Ability to influence at all levels with emphasis at executive level stakeholders
-Strong track-record in HR generalist and change management roles
-Commercial acumen and credibility
-Extensive experience of managing a team
-Highly credible communication and interpersonal skills
