Job Title: Temporary HR / ER Advisor - to cover up to 12 months Maternity Leave
Location: Position available in Gateshead / Newcastle
Salary: Circa £25, 000 per annum
The company are a busy HR and employment law outsourcing business and they are currently looking to add to their professional and dedicated team of HR / Employment Law Advisors. They currently have an opportunity at their head office in Gateshead Tyne & Wear, for a temporary post to cover Maternity Leave, commencing at the end of July.
This is a customer-focused role (internal and external), which involves providing HR, employee relations and employment law advice to managers, from across a variety of business disciplines, on issues including; employee relations, TUPE transfers, performance management, reward & recognition, staff development. As well as contributing to HR projects and working with other team members to achieve objectives. There will the requirement for some travel throughout the UK to visit clients.
You must be able to demonstrate practical experience of advising on:
Candidates, ideally, should be CIPD qualified or studying towards membership or equivalent.
Current generalist HR experience and knowledge of employment law and how to apply it to a variety of scenarios to ensure best practice is essential and well as the ability to work within a fast paced, high volume environment.
A team player, you will have outstanding communication and influencing skills.
