A well respected client of mine is currently looking for a HR Generalist, with a passion in L&D, to fill this newly created position in their HR Team.
This role is heavily involved in delivering not only generalist HR support to the group but to also support with the entire development of the L&D programme.
The generalist side of the role is going to include some heavy Employee Relations work, so someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty would be beneficial. You will be looking after some complex cases so delivering culturally sensitive, pragmatic solutions to everything from sickness to grievances is at the top of the agenda. Alongside this you will also be involved in various recruitment campaigns, project work, general administration and support to the wider business.
The L&D side of the role is completely new, so this is for the new incumbent to create. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, running and evolving the entire L&D strategy; you will be designing all course content and learning materials as well as supporting with on boarding, running inductions, developing apprenticeships and acting as the main point of contact for all queries. This would be a great opportunity for someone with a passion in the learning and development space as this role, being newly created, has the capacity to become what the incumbent wishes; whether that is retaining generalist activities or developing more into a learning focus.
In this role you will be expected to have the ability to work collaboratively with team members but also be able to use your own initiative and handle some cultural sensitives to drive projects forward.
