Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for an FMCG business based in Scunthorpe. Employing c400 people, the role is pivotal in providing a high quality and cost effective HR service across all functions.
Reporting to the Head of HR with responsibility for 3 direct reports, the HR Manager will significantly contribute to the development and implementation of the people strategy. The core responsibilities of the role will be to deliver a strong generalist capability into the business whilst delivering the Company's HR plan to ensure that the HR function proactively supports the organisation to achieve its objectives. The HR Manager will be required to lead, develop and motivate an effective and professional HR function and to ensure that all HR transactional processes are efficient and followed in full.
This is a fast paced and changing environment and it is therefore essential the successful candidate can demonstrate influence and credibility to senior management level.
The company has a strong ethos and values and these key parameters within HR regarding employee behaviours and expectations.
Ideally you will have experience gained within FMCG, manufacturing, distribution or similar environment. You will be CIPD qualified to Chartered level.
You should also have some experience of managing a team and demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude and "can do" attitude.

- MCIPD qualified
- HR management experience gained within commercially driven environments
- Experience of managing a HR team
- Experience of managing payroll
- Experience of managing health & safety
- Demonstrate the ability to be dynamic, creative, enthusiastic and willing to make a difference to the business
- Ability to communicate and influence across all levels particularly at senior stakeholder level
