Our client houses a unique collection of portraits of the men and women who have helped shape British history and culture. Now numbering over 12,000 portraits the primary collection embraces every medium - oil paintings, drawings, miniatures, photographs, mixed/new media and sculpture. Besides this, the Gallery has a photographs collection of 250,000 images and a reference collection of 80,000 prints. The Gallery has had an increasingly high public profile and now attracts over 2 million visitors to its galleries and regional partnerships.
Position: HR Manager (Job Share)
Contract type: Part Time, Fixed Term for 9 months
Hours: 16 hours per week, Thursday and Friday
Salary: £13,800 per annum

About the Role:
They are looking for an ambitious and talented HR Manager to join the busy and recently reorganised HR team on a job share basis.
Reporting to the Acting Head of HR, the HR Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of day to day people management services and activities including recruitment, employee relations and performance management, through the timely provision of HR advice and support.
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience with evidence of continuous professional development alongside proven significant generalist HR experience, including advising and supporting managers.
They will have up to date knowledge of employment law and HR good practice alongside the ability to quickly establish credibility and good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience of managing the work of others is also essential.
