Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an established business in Sheffield looking to appoint a HR Manager for their growing business. Reporting into the CEO and managing a small HR team this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference as a HR professional.
As you would expect the role has a broad generalist remit and given the markets the business operates in the role will have a key emphasis on attraction, retention, reward, engagement and development.
Success in this role will be demonstrated though the successful implementation of a HR strategy and people plan across a multi-site operation, driving the people management strategy and managing the HR team, policies and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
*Reporting into the CEO and operating as part of the senior management team with ultimate responsibility for all people-based activity both operationally and strategically
*Influencing the Senior Management Team to develop a range of strategic options in all areas of Human Resources Management to add value to the business
*Responsible for facilitating and driving change though effective implementation of a People Plan
*Lead on resourcing and attraction for the business supporting leadership level roles and managing the HR team on volume activity
*Focus on retention and engagement strategies to ensure a developed and committed workforce
*Make recommendations on effective training and development programmes
*Carrying out due diligence on mergers and acquisitions
*Oversee investigations and complex ER issues as required
*Leading on HR related projects
Elevation HR are interested in speaking with Senior HR Professionals with the following skills and experience:
*Extensive generalist experience and track record possibly with IT related industries likely to be in a HR Manager or HRBP role possibly looking to step into a more senior role with greater responsibility.
*Degree qualified desirable and CIPD qualified
*Strong commercial acumen and credibility
*Demonstrable experience of attraction, retention and engagement initiatives
*Strong employment law and best practice knowledge
*Experience of business mergers and acquisitions and/or Tupe
*Confident of operating and influencing at senior management level
