Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for one of our Manufacturing clients based in North Nottinghamshire. This is a standalone HR Manager with responsibility for 4 sites in the UK, as well as reporting into Europe/Global.

Reporting into the Global Head of HR, the role will encompass a fully generalist role within a unionised environment.

The role will be responsible for:

-Roll out and embedding of Group wide HR policies and initiatives in line with the Group and UK strategy, promoting the Group identity
-Operate as part of the Global HR network contributing to projects as appropriate
-Manage all site employee relations including grievance, disciplinaries, performance management, restructures and redundancies where necessary
-Support managers and stakeholders on implementing HR best practice and provide expertise on relevant employment legislation
-Work closely with Unions on agreements and collective consultations around T&C's and pay awards
-Manage all on site recruitment, workforce planning, supporting managers on job evaluation as well as liaising with external recruiters
-Manage salary reviews, annual increases and planning of future pay plans
-Work closely with managers on career development and succession planning for their teams including overseeing the company PDR reviews

To be successful in this role we're looking for the following:

-Degree educated and/or Level 5 CIPD or above
-Proven experience of generalist HR in a unionised manufacturing environment or similar commercial fast paced business such as logistics, FMCG
-Ability to work autonomously in a standalone capacity
-Strong ER and employment law knowledge
-Strong influencer, communicator, enthusiastic and energetic to make a difference

The role will involve occasional travel to other UK sites so must hold full UK licence.
