The HR Manager Role:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director we are looking for a skilled HR manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.
The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment changes & talent management

Main Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
+ Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
+ Manage the recruitment and selection process
+ Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation 
+ Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures 
+ Nurture a positive working environment
+ Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
+ Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
+ Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
+ Provide the MD, Directors and managers with the appropriate advice and support on all HR and Organisational Design matters. 
+ Create, implement and manage the HR Budget. 
+ Implement and lead an employee Forum ensuring regular engagement with the MD. 
+ HR Lead for all change management programmes including redundancy, restructuring and tupe. 
+ Ensure the business is prepared for current and future employment law changes and developments.
+ Provide management information and HR reports to support in driving change.
+ Line management responsibilities of a Recruitment Manager and HR Advisor. 

Skill & Abilities:

+ Strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills, good judgement and problem solving skills 
+ Flexible attitude and willing to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the organisation. 
+ Ability to effectively, interact, building relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
+ Extensive HR generalist experience gained across all disciplines
+ Possess excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop others 
+ Significant experience of working in a senior HR management role 
+ Experience of being part of a Senior Management Team. 
+ Resilient, tenacious and challenging 
+ Effective, versatile and action orientated 
+ Ability to work at pace with a calm disposition 
+ High level of emotional intelligence

Experience:

+ CIPD qualified
+ Have extensive HR generalist and change management experience, ideally in a Automotive environment
+ You will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of employment law and will be able to draw on past experience of managing complex cases


Additional Information:
