HR Manager - CIPD Qualified - Automotive Logistics Leader
Up to £45,000 + Car or Car Allowance

Our vehicle logistics platform takes advantage of the latest developments in mobile computing and hand held and tablet technologies to deliver our customers up to date logistics data, management dashboards and full control of the logistics process. This means we can offer our clients complete visibility of their vehicle movements with real time up to date information, reducing complexity and uncertainty, and offering peace of mind and an unrivalled customer experience.
The HR Manager Role:
The specific duties of the role will involve:
+ Advise colleagues on Company policy, and assist with the development and implementation of new policies;
+ Manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy;
+ Generate HR analytics reports to inform the business, improve retention and performance;
+ Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies;
+ Support the recruitment process – this may include writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc;
+ Carry out new starter inductions;
+ Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy;
+ Manage talent and succession planning;
+ Manage the annual appraisal cycle;
+ Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary;
+ Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation;
+ Support change management processes.
HR Manager Key Skills & Experience:
+ An under-graduate degree and be fully CIPD qualified
+ Proven HR generalist experience of three to five years is expected
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully build and maintain long standing, effective and trusting relationships with key stakeholders within the business
+ Excellent written skills
+ A flexible and adaptable approach to varying workloads
+ The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, and respond promptly using own initiative
+ Experience of working in environments where decisions are made based on risk evaluation and professional judgment
+ An ability to manage and plan diary movements efficiently
+ Experience in policy and contract drafting
+ Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook etc.
