We are looking for an HR Officer to oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function, practices and processes. You will assist the management team in all of staff management & development issues which will enable the meeting of company objectives.

They expect the HR Officer to manage all the day-to-day HR issues of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining employee records
- Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
- Provide training on inductions and recruitment procedures
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues with the support of an external legal Employment adviser to ensure legal compliance
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the company
- Create and maintain company policies. Recommend process or policy improvements to ensure efficiency
- You will ensure that all legislative requirements are met and HR best practice is firmly established within the company.
- Administer employment contracts for new starters, collect employment references and conduct pre-employment checks
- Monitor employee probation periods and provide managers with support as required
- Update the company handbook on changes to policies and procedures
- Support managers with employee sickness including providing advice and support on return to work interviews
- Support Payroll team when required

Requirements
- An established HR background with experience of providing a range of employee relations matters.
- Genuine interest and understanding in Human Resources and fellow employees
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail
- IT literate
- Discrete and confidential approach to work

- Confident in understanding and commanding the importance of HR process and management
