Elevation HR are currently working on a retained basis to recruit for a HR Operations Manager for a leading manufacturing business based in North Lincolnshire. Reporting into the HRD this is a senior level opportunity for a strong HR Operations Manager to make a valued contribution to the operational and HR information management across the business.
The HR Operations Manager is accountable for service across multiple sites within the UK and overseas offices. While qualified as an HR professional the clear focus of this role is on governance, process and policy development and the planned delivery of excellent service.
The role will foster a culture of service excellence within Operations. This is a key influencing role which is crucial to the development, deployment and implementation of HR processes, policies and procedures.
Principal accountabilities in the role will include:
*Supporting the implementation of business projects, processes and programmes as agreed with Business HR and wider management
*Managing the efficient and effective delivery of HR transactional activity through the HR Service Centre, c8 personnel
*Ensuring that HR systems are fit for purpose to meet the business objectives - including governance, data, reporting and operations support.
*Facilitate the deployment of existing and new HR processes, policy updates etc. in a way which builds the capability in the HR Function, and in line managers, team leaders and team members.
*Manage the outsourced arrangements and relationship between external payroll providers - maintaining, reviewing, approving payroll, managing year end processes.
*Operating within a complex, cross-discipline environment, managing multiple and fluctuating project responsibilities.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
*CIPD qualified with a number of years proven experience in HR Operations management
*Extensive background within a HR management role ideally from a high volume manufacturing/engineering environment
*Significant experience of managing the coordination and delivery of key HR Services
*Payroll knowledge and HR Systems implementation experience
*High level of IT systems capability e.g Excel and ideally including SAP
*Strong project management skills
*Strong process management skills with the ability to create and maintain processes
*Must have experience of working to tight deadlines
*Calm under pressure with an ability to challenge at all levels
