I have partnered with an exciting FMCG. The role: HR Policy Manager who will be responsible for the development of HR Policies, Procedures and staff/management guidance, working collaboratively with stakeholders under the direction of the Senior ER and Policy Manager.
You will also be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of appropriate communication interventions related to new and updated HR Policies and Procedures, including delivering training and briefings to HR colleagues and other managers and groups.
Additionally, you will be required to advise managers on complex employee relations issues including acting as HR adviser to grievance/disciplinary investigations wherever appropriate.
This is a leadership role within HR Shared Services team that has an impact on the specific
projects it is dedicated to as well influencing the broader performance standards and
culture within the company. The purpose of this role is to:
Lead the development and implementation of policies across all business functions and Brands within the Company, ensuring that policies adhere to legislation and corporate governance, whilst reflecting Whitbread values and supporting business goals.
Develop a framework to recommend and implement an employee forum which is aligned to the Information and Consultation regulations and enables a collective and consultative approach to developing an employee voice.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to use your relevant technical expertise and experience objectively and with integrity to build a track record of reliable, trustworthy and dependable source of HR support, guidance and delivery along with using analytical and pragmatic problem solving skills to make timely and balanced decisions which consider the wider strategic picture and implications for a large organisation.
