HR Process & Transformation Lead - HR Shared Services - c12 Month Contract

We are now recruiting a HR Process & Transformation Lead for our HR Shared Service Centre, based in Blackburn. As a member of the UKI HRSS senior team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of HR services and Business Unit (BU) HR group and leading in the review and re-engineering of HRSS and business process in order to ensure operational readiness for the Workday & ADP Global HR and payroll project implementation in UKI.
You will work in a matrix organization and lead on all aspects of operational impact assessment and operational readiness delivery. This will cover Workday core HR, Absence & Leave management, recruiting requisitions, following on with talent and benefits.
You will work with the project subject matter experts in the corporate programme office, within BU functional areas of HR, Finance, IT, Payroll and HRSS, to ensure full end to end process validation, redesign and implementation of core HR business process. You will ensure the processes are fit for purpose in the future state of Workday deployment and also ensure functional areas such as compensation, absence, leave and all elements of the HR lifecycle are catered for taking account of downstream impacts of the introduction of the new systems and tools as well as the required change management.
You will also identify and drive opportunity to deliver complexity reduction in the way we work through process alignment simplification and standardization across the commercial business entities where appropriate, with particular focus on efficiency in the back office areas of HRSS.
Proven HR process design and implementation experience
Track record of delivering significant change programmes
Experience of lean methodologies in practice
Ability to work independently as well as team, establish priorities, raising and/or resolving issues
Ability to drive and adapt to change
HR Services/ Shared Service Centre and project management experience
Experience with global cloud-based HR systems implementations and a proven track record of delivering a multi work stream project in HR systems, preferably Workday
HR generalist experience is beneficial
Experience of working within a corporate business with multiple business units
Excellent Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel, V Look ups, Viso & process mapping
Outstanding project management and change management skills including ownership over planning, tracking, and communicating change initiatives.
Exceptional customer service orientation
Drives results and is comfortable with a high-paced environment with competing priorities
