Excel are currently seeking an experienced HR Professional for a varied and challenging role working with one of the UK's biggest defence contractors on a fixed term basis.
This is a unique opportunity to focus aimed at optimising efficiency in existing HR processes as well as introducing new approaches to existing issues.
Much of the role initially we will be involved with employee relations, following this its likely to become more policy focused position with aspects of developing HR training, the commercial elements of HR and performance management among others.
There will also be a requirement to travel to other sites in the UK for troubleshooting more general HR work.
We expect around 2 days off site per week, it may also be possible to work 1-2 days per week from home.
The contract is set to run for 6 months but may well be extended.
To be considered you must be able to show previous experience of successful resolution of employee relation issues, a strong background in policy writing and a good overall understanding of all aspects of the HR function.
