My client, a leading higher education institution in London are seeking a HR Manager for one of their most exciting projects yet!
They are looking to open a campus in Dubai and need a HR Manager to be the point for all contacts and stakeholders moving over to the UAE and queries in regards to Employment Law.
In this generalist post, you will provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on all HR matters. In doing so you will need to build and develop effective working relationships with managers which will allow you to influence, develop and support managers to help them achieve their own, team and organisational objectives.
Ideally you will be a HR Generalist expert with 3+ years experience in HR, ideally with some reporting to stakeholders in the UAE or working in the UAE itself, as well as UK experience. If this experience is from an Education background that would be a positive although this is not a requisite.
Key responsibilities will include supporting the Director of HR in delivering the HR Strategy, providing managers and staff with advice and guidance on all HR policies, terms and conditions of employment and other HR issues in accordance with employment legislation; being the first point of contact in advising managers on employee relations casework and change management as well as leading on recruitment, employment contract, payroll and casework administration. You may have to travel to Dubai once or twice in this contract.
This role is currently for 3/6 months on a Fixed Term basis but may have the option to go permanent.
