Job Title: Human Resource & Recruitment Advisor

Location: Kettering

Salary: £30,000

Job Type: Permanent, Full time.

The role: Join our small team based at our Kettering HQ! We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Human Resource & Recruitment Advisor to hit the ground running.

As a fast growing local company we are looking for a person who can fit in and apply their expertise to the security industry.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be managing our current staff performances as well as finding new individuals to join our teams of security and mobile officers in Northamptonshire & Cambridgeshire.

As a highly accredited security company all staff must be security vetted to BS 7858:2019, whilst a working knowledge of this standard would be beneficial it is not essential as in-house training can be given.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Recruitment Management - from placing adverts, promoting via social platforms to arranging and conducting initial interviews
  • Company Induction Training
  • Maintaining staff training records - ensuring all certificates are renewed in a timely manner
  • Managing and undertaking annual appraisals of current employees
  • Managing the grievance and disciplinary policy/process
  • Responsible for the absence attendance management process
  • Liaising with our HR & HS Advisors to ensure all company documents remain compliant and up to date

The Candidate:

  • Human Resource & Recruitment experience
  • Excellent people management
  • Adequate knowledge of the employment law and understanding of HR best practices
